Ah yes, name-calling and insults, the primary weapons of the Left. I'm not a TPer, militiaman or brown shirt, but thanks for continuing your wrong streak.....As for the "theoretical" musings of mongooses and serpents, if you provide the mongoose, I'll provide diamondback (Western, if that's ok) I'll cover any wager you'd like to make, but I have to insist on even odds.

Not sure what you're referring to re: "hijacked" flag. The best thing about the tea party is that it's drawn the VFTRTers away from the Libertarians (which I am also not).

"Extremism in defense of liberty is no vice. And I might add that restraint in the face of tyranny is no virtue."
I agree with our last statment. but if the purpous of the person to whom you responded intent was to piss some one off they suceeded in my case. to equate the Tea party to the brown shurts ect, ect, ect is name calling in it's worse. Stalin and his communist wrere considered left and Hittler and his Fasist were considered Right and the world is still debatting over who killed more. the Question is not Right of Left it is are we going to contuniue to be free men with the right to think for our selves or are we goiong to be like ducklings who follow the leader in to a mess like the Germon people found them selves in the '40's

The South always considered slaves as property as they were. The North contended that slavery was wrong and began freeing slaves after the revelation. The 3/5 compromise had nothing to do with whether the slave was property or not it was that the South was fearful that the more populous North would use their advantage to further their own interest over that of the south. The South wish to use the slave as a way to level the playing field, eventhough the slave would not have a vote or any rights. Many people, pictulary in the South, put the fact that they were Americans behind their State
Yes that is correct, and is consistent with my post. I was not trying to suggest otherwise. Slavery was not a Constitutional issue until the civil war. I apologize if I was unclear.
