The movie is far more accurate than people may believe.

Many people don't remember the names Gordon Gekko or Bud Fox but if you were to ask those working on Wall Street I would be surprised if you could find one that didn't.

To many of them, these guys are heroes... that they wish to emulate.

Many people that were young in 1987 were actually drawn to Wall Street in large part because of that movie.

The movie also shows one or 2 good, honest guys on Wall Street but you could probably find some that don't remember their names.

I thought that it was an amazing movie. Any other opinions on that??

Unfortunately, I don't think that the Gordon Gekko fans are only relegated to Wall Street. Other power hungry indivuals would also want to emulate him.

Wall Street is one of my favorite movies. And yes, I think the movie was quite accurate. They're making a sequel, with Michael Douglas reprising his role.

Wall Street did for stockbrokers what Glengarry Glen Ross did for salesmen and Top Gun did for Navy pilots.
