Saudi Arabia eh? That's quite the role model for democracy. Bush's thoughts, "I know most of the terrorist support and supplies come from your country Mr Abdullah but niether of us like Iran so lets blame it on them." Smooch smooch.

I guess since Bush is shaking hands with Jintao he must be a communist. Look at the big ol' s-eatin grin on Bush's face, almost as if to say, "Thanks for loaing all that money." Almost looks like bush is getting ready to go down on Hu. Hu looks like he is zipping down his pants for Bush.

Realy? has some profound point been made other than world leaders wear the same expensive suits...and they are cut from the same cloth.

I'd like to turn it around - if Obama had greeted Chavez coldly, refused to shake his hand, etc., what would that have accomplished? Of course he was civil. He has been critical of Chavez, and Chavez has been critical of him. But they're doing what world leaders do: being outwardly cordial in public. It's called diplomacy, Jim. Ever heard of it?
Is that what it's called when this particular head of state openly collaborates with other sworn enemies of America to "bring her down" and "destroy her?" He even hosts Anti-America conferences with other luminaries such as Cuba and Bolivia with the expressed purpose of destroying our way of life. It's called the anti-America alliance.

For most, actions have consequenses. None such here.

Try again. Try harder.

Ahhh, I love the smell of moral equivalence in the morning!

As unsavory as the individuals arewhich you were so helpful to post, I don't remember the destruction of the United States, and the living standard of the world, being any of their bellicoselyexpressed, and repeated, raison d'etre.

I was merely pointing out that the R's have shaken hands with countries that most righ wingers would not wanna be a part of. You can't sit there and point a finger at Obama for shaking hands with a world leader when every single politician does it. It's a double standard that doesn't fly in my book.

I think we should be friendly towards all countries regardless of their political/economic models. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
