If you voted for Obama, are you still feeling good about it?

I'd have voted for him if I lived in the States...

And I think I'd still feel pretty good about it.

Enough that I'd at least be prepared to give him a while to settle in before I pass judgement.

Anyone else with me?

I applaud your good heart, but my opinions of him are formed based on his policy.

I think that he has hugely enormous challenges before him, and 40 days (or however long it's been since he was inaugurated) is way too soon to pass any kind of judgement. I am happy with some of the decisions that he has made, and am waiting to see how some others unfold before drawing any conclusions.

There is certainly nothing at this point that makes me regret voting for him instead of Senator McCain! And, I continue to find him to be a refreshing change from the recent past.

I almost voted for him, but I am glad I didn't.

With that said. Don't blame me I voted for Ralph Nader.

I agree with neardc and TP above. I'm actually more of a Green than a Dem, but aside from the choice of Biden for VP (I like Biden, I just wasn't sure he was the best choice for VP) I'm certainly willing to see how things begin to shape up.

Obama's an interesting mix. He'sbig-picture thinker who's also a pragmatist. The challenge for big-picture thinkers is in how they assemble the team to work on the details. The challenge for pragmatists is how to avoid getting stuck with the first thing that "works" and then hesitating to try to fix what "ain't broke."

I like his contradictions. If he can get those contradictions to work together, I think he will in fact have been the right person for this point in history.

Affirmative (just to not be a "copy-cat").

I even worked (volunteered at local campaign HQs) to get him elected.

The fascists must really hate me when they find out this info. LOL

Yes I do. I believe he is honest and tells it the way it is. The Republicans and Rush Limbaugh critize and Limbaugh hopes the US fails. What attidute is that? I do not believe that Pres Obsma for one minute wants to socialize everything, but we have seen what has happened in the last eight years with no government envolvement and no regulations. Everything was greed, politics, take the money and run. AIG, Merril Lynch, Bernie Madeof, Citibank, no regulations, just take the money and run. Yes, we the average american do need control on where our money goes, and reducing taxes on the rich is just ignorant. They have not produced jobs, they sqandered billions of dollars and now their (our) money is in Switzerland and off shore accounts and we cannot pay for our homes. But yet we are to blame too. Don't buy on credit for silly things. If you don't have the cash in you pocket, don't buy the shoes. The only thing you should have on credit is your house and car...nothing else!
