In my opinion, he hit the right balance between gloom and hope. Ultimately, it was a challenge to the people.





My only disappointment is that Canada does not have a similar leader.

A call for action and responsibility from the nation as a whole ... inspirational. Didn't brush aside the difficulties and struggles, instead acknowledging them and outlining a generalized goal of rising up to meet them.

Lovely speech. A call to move forward and a returntothe value baseof this greatnationas we start the process of rebuilding it. I echo his words that its time to move on from the politics of fear!

The inauguration from a Canadian point of view, is that I am glad that he is in there. His speech sounded very much like Martin Luther King. It was like an echo from the past. Everyone in the world, should be taking notice that the impossible becomes possible. Take Notice and be proud!!

He is the hope that our country has been waiting for. His speech is definately a step in the right direction.

I hate that I had to miss the actual speech. I heard a bit of the "pre-game" and got home just after the speech. Anybody know a website where I can hear the whole speech? I don't want just the sound bites.
