No, it's a total joke. While I am happy for black people and minorities, Obama was selected and elected by the media. And helped by McCains stodgy, stale, stumbling of acampaign. While Obama might be good, he's still owned by the Big Dogs-large Corporations + other.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Edited:It's not that I'm against Obama whoappears to be the first one who CARES in a long time. There's just a lot offrustration about what's been going on.Obamahas a pro-female slate. That bodes ill for little boys whosefathers can't see them. There already are 1,000s ofdivorced fathers that have committedsuicide over unjustVAWA laws (no more Due Process for men.)

Bush on the other hand, is an outright thief (North American Union, Patriot Act-and lets not forget Bill Clinton and Nafta.) I wish people would worship theflag instead of a person. But then that would lead to Nationalism...so I don't see a way out?

We little people are so naive... Every president is elected by the media and is financed by big business. That's America whether we like it or not. Given that... Hoorah! This country is finally going in a different direction.

Forthe secondtimewithin 50 years, one underlying concern of the new president is "Will his faith have an adverse impact upon our Nation?" First it was JFK and now it is Obama. Only time will tell.

I don't believe history will be "rewritten" because he was elected. All politicians are the same.

Excuse me?? Why would his being a member of the UCC impact the country in any particular way?

I am just guessing here, but I think it has more to do with thefact that many people believe that he is Muslim undercover. Like I said, I am just guessing because I have heard that for so long by stupid people.
