What are your thoughts opinions on it?

For me it's hard to say what is true. If it is true that Palestinians were starving to death due to blockades Israel placed on them I can understand them shooting the rockets. But if they attacked Israel just to then I can understand Isreal's response. I just hope our government stays out of it(which they wont).

It's good to hear both sides. I think in the US we get more of the Isreali side than Palestinian. Regardless war is a very sad thing.

Regardless of who started it, it is between them to come up with a peaceful resolution. There is no need for them to continue this fight.

Here's my question.

Israel was drawn up and created byGreat Britianafter WW2 and Palestine was virtually erased. All part of a break-up of British imperialism. I fully understand why the Palestinians are p!$$ed 0ff.

So why isn't Great Britian taking up some kind of role resolving this overall issue?? Why aren't the British being called on this mess they created?? Why is it up to the USA??

Pretty much the same issue holds with the boundary dispute with Pakistan in the Kashmir region of India. Where are the British in these problems they created??

here is my question...

disregarding the religious/biblical aspects of this conflict, why must we (the USA) involve ourselves in every conflict at every corner of the globe?

I felt the same way about Iraq. The brits were ultimately responsible for that as well. Perhaps they don't want to be a part of policing the world anymore? I dunno.
