The collateral damage is a result of these cowards using their own innocent civilians as human shields. If Hamas thinks people were killed for nothing maybe they aren't getting the message yet.
I can say that because "collateral damage" is inhumane to me.... killing that many people is not the way to send a message to Hamas.... all it will do is turn more (normally rational and reasonable) people into terrorists ready to kill Jews and Westerners....


And regarding the strategic sites - what was the UN? Do you really think the UN would have been harbouring Hamas fighters? And the school, where kids got killed and a number of other places.... that is not strategic, that is just senseless slaughter....


And most of the media were not allowed in to film what was happening on the ground.... the nice sterile pictures that were released by Israel gives such a nice clinical picture of war that it makes it seem rather palatable and the term "collateral damage" as being an acceptable term for the senseless slaughter of over 1000 people (most of whom undoubtedly were innocents - I obviously dont know the numbers and no-one does, but if civilians were getting killed, logic would dictate that they were generally innocent)...


The way that war is waged these days makes us so much more inured to it.... 1000 people got killed, oh well, who cares.... right?


Look Tweet, I am not angry with you, I just feel very passionately about this top (one of many like this) and am willing to say what I think.... even if others disagree with me (although I know a lot do agree)....
