Earlier this month I saw Death Cab for Cutie play with the LA Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl. It was a great show and the finale was absolutely magical. The combination of the orchestra, fireworks, and the beautiful song, Transatlanticism, made it one of my most memorable concert experiences.

Jane's Addiction and NIN put on a great show too.

Okay so my favorite band is The Used, handsdown. Having seen them live seven times, I would say msot everytime they were amazing. Although, I'm pretty biased in that way, but they definitely put on a good show. I would have to say that one of the best shows i've been to would be Tool. The lightshow, the music, and the overall vibe was pretty amazing.

Grateful Dead at Landover, Maryland U.S Air Arena. I got miracled box seats with some Mobile Oil executives. Trust me it was a night to remember.

Second best, has to be Tool, or White Zombie, or Dave Mathews, or Pantera, Oh definately Tom Petty--twice!

All time favorite: Pink Floyd - Bobby Dodd Stadium Atlanta, Fall 1993

Most mind-blowing:
Nine Inch Nails & A Perfect Circle - Cow Palace, San Francisco, 1998

Best buzz:
Grateful Dead - RFK Stadium, Washington DC - 1995

Honorable mention:
Robert Plant & Jimmy Page - The Omni, Atlanta 1994

I only wish I'd been alive to see Led Zeppelin in the flesh

Pink Floyd-Vancouver BC, about 1993-blow me out of the seat stuff

As a true DeadHead, I've been to so many concerts that I can't remember the best ones

Bonnie Raitt-Columbia Gorge...truly a magical night outside with the sun setting behind Raitt-she turned around, stopped playing and said "We're just going to pause a moment and watch this sunset"

The Moody Blues-again 40 years of concerts..but with the Portland Symphony was one of the best.
