It seems like everytime I get in the car and switch on the radio, I get to listen to:

"American Pie" - I forget the artist. Don someone?

"Janie's Got A Gun" - Aerosmith.

"Centrefold" - don't know the artist.

And that song about a bunch of red balloons ... we get to listen to the German version!

I cannot stand this song. It is called 99 Luft Balloons or 99 Red Balloons. UGGHHH!

Don McLean, and yes it is very overplayed.

I don't know if this is true anywhere else but my local classic rock station will always play Riders on the Storm the moment it start raining. Painful.

I cannot stand regular FM radio stations, it's just so bad, especially the classic rock ones. One of the most overplayed all time on classic rock radio is easily Hotel California.

"Centerfold" is by the J. Geils Band.

One song I'm really tired of hearing is "Rock On" by David Essex. This audio turd should have never made itto airplay on any station, ever, but I hear it every time I turn on one of the classic rock stations in my area, and I turn on the radio about 4-5 times a day.

I tend to agree that "Hotel California" is over played, too, but at least it's a real song, and a classic, by a decent group. By decent I mean that Ilike them ok, butthey're overated.

For me, Its got to be 'endless love' from the early 80's
The top 40 stations overplayed it to death.

20+ years later and I still cant get myself to listen to that song

And the titanic song is another, it's way too long.........
