I found out about Josh Groban by accident one morning when I had the TV on, and I heard him singing on THE VIEW some years ago. I had to run to see who's voice it was! Ever since then, I've been hooked. I was lucky enough to go to his Closer Concert Tour in Concord, CA in 2004. Anyone else out there love this guy? lol

I think you might have all women posting here, but yes, I'm a Josh Groban fan. And I just posted in the Metal thread. LOL I love all types of music.

I can't remember when I discovered Josh but he does have an amazing voice. One of these days I'd love to see him in concert. Lucky you that you got to go!

Love his album, "Awake." When I first heard Josh, he was singing "O Holy Night," and while he did a bang-up job, he sounded too much like Johnny Mathis. I grew up listening to Mathis' rendition and to me, artistically, this was not acceptable. So I kind of thought the boy needed to find his own way. Well that album did it for me. He truly is coming into his own.

Yeah, he's had some growing to do. But like you said, technokat, he seems to have found his own unique voice, so to speak. I don't have his newest album. Maybe I need to get that.

ME! I'm a hugggeee Josh Groban fan. I've loved him since I was thirteen or fourteen. He's so amazing. Love him to death. That is all I can say. His voice, oh his voice, but his eyes are gorgeous too! He's just a great human being.

Well, I might just be the first male and I, too, am a huge fan of Josh Groban, as proven by my owning everything he puts out. Though he doesn't have opera chops, his voice is powerful and well-trained. He speaks Italian pretty well, too.
