Hi all-I know I'm like a dinosaur, but did anyone see this great documentary on the Ramones? I saw them in Riverside around 86. Sheena is a punk rocker! They rocked. Comments?

I love the Ramones, Dee Dee was the best. He actual inspired me to learn how to play bass. He has a bunch of CD's he made after leaving the Ramones. If you have never heard of them you should check them out. As he was the main song writer in the group all his material after the Ramones was very similar. He actually wrote a handfull of songs for the Ramones after leaving the band. I still say he wrote Chinese Rock's not Johny Thunder. The bands are as you would expect

Dee Dee Ramone

The Ramainz

Youth gone mad (last CD he made before he OD'd)

I know that no one is probably going to look at this but I snuck into the last show they played in my state before Joey died. It was at a club called the Vogue and I hung on for dear life in the front just so I could sing the words to all the songs while looking into those little purple glasses of his. The Ramones are still a staple in my home and my two young daughters sing Ay Oh just like british punks!

When I say "snuck in" I mean borrowed my friends sisters i.d. so I could get into the bar. Only time I used someone elses i.d. to get into a bar and definately worth it seeing as I would have missed seeing them completely. (Joey passed before they came back with Lollapalooza that summer.
