came to my burg last night-and I have to say they put on one hell of a show!

I've seen Pink Floyd in real life twice - the first time at a fairly small venue outdoors in LA and the second in a ginormous arena in Vancouver BC. That second show was an amazing psychic overwhelming experience, I have to say, with lazer lights and 10 screens and everyone totally stoned...

The first time was fantastic but much less bombastic to the mind.

Pink Floyd Experience is like that. They play smaller auditoriums and bring all the lazers and the pig in but it is quite a bit lower key. Pink Floyd of the late 60s rather than mid 70s and later as they got bigger and more frentic.

Their show was almost 3 hours (a 20 min intermission) and they played quite a few of the less known PF hits as well as a totally awesome dynamite encore which ended with the audience shouting Teachers: Leave them kids alone!!

My favorites were, of course, typical for a PF fan..Breathe, The Lunatic (Dark Side of the Moon), Comfortably Numb and Money.

The guitar and drum riffs are spot on and they have an absolutely killer sax player.
The only thing they lack is the women's background chorus-they have one woman doing what 3-5 do on concert but still it works.

If PFX comes anywhere near you-go and see them-worth reliving PF again.
