I Do -- Lisa Loeb (old 90's pop one hit wonder)
Wait. Lisa Loeb actually had 3 hits, with her most famous being "Stay (I Missed You)."

Have you heard that one?

Lots of great suggestions, and sorry if I repeat any, as I'm trying to provide some that no one else has suggested.

Here's my list of some great break-up song lists:

Scandal - Goodbye to You
Band of Horses - No One's Ever Gonna Love You More than I Do
Coldplay - Warning Sign
Man/Miracle - Above the Salon
The Zombies - Whenever You're Ready
Adele - Don't Your Remember?
Tegan & Sara - Back in Your Head
The Cure - Boy's Don't Cry
John Mayer - Edge of Desire
Ryan Adams - Come Pick Me Up
Whiskeytown - Everything I Do
Bread - Lost Without Your Love
Justin Bieber - Baby (yeah, yeah, I know...)
She & Him - I Thought I Saw Your Face Today
Joey McEntire - I Love You Came Too Late (don't judge) :P
Babyface - When Can I See You Again?
Maroon 5 - Back at Your Door
Lauryn Hill - I Just Want You Around
Willie Nelson - Sad Songs & Waltzes
Suzanne Vega - Caramel
Belle & Sebastian - I Want the World to Stop
Al Green - Let's Stay Together
Aimee Mann - Save Me
Concrete Blonde - Make Me Cry
Fiona Apple - Paper Bag
Cat Stevens - Here Comes My Baby
Fleetwood Mac - Landslide

And I'm probably missing some that are a lot more obvious....

A lot of break-up songs tend to be love songs in disguise, so I'm not sure if these were meant to be kissing a person off type songs, like the first one I listed by Scandal, or the songs that provide a catharsis to the healing process of just having a breakup.

Either way, will probably look forward to others. Love songs and breakup songs -- regardless of whether or not you're in love or going through a heartbreak -- tend to be the songs, in my opinion.

When my fiance and I broke up in my early twenties, I listened to The Cure's Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me 24 hours a day for several months. I think it's the greatest break-up music ever written, and it still fills me with melancholy nostalgia anytime I hear it.

Considering how my last bid for a relationship just came to a sudden and devastating (well, for me) end this has been popping up on my main pandora station like crazy this week:

Killswitch Engage - The End Of Heartache

Anything Tom Waits works - just looking at him works.

Try: Otis Redding "I've been loving you too long (to stop now)"

You can feel the heartache oozing from this one.
