I just found this thread. Another song by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole is "Hi'ilawe" And I love his version of 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow."

Tia Carrere put out an album of Hawaiian songs. And her version of "Aloha Oe" is awesome.
Brothers Cazimero's version of "Rainbow Connection" in Hawaiian just gets me every time. (I grew up in Hawaii)

Other songs by Brothers Cazimero "Home in the Islands" ; "Love song of Kulua" and "Hawaiian Lullabye."

Other songs -

"Dixie Lulluaby" by Pat Green;

"You don't know me" sung by Ray Charles & Diana Krall;

"La Contestacion" by Los Lonely Boys

(I did list these separately but the 'spacing' thing isn't working.)

The single most beautiful version of Somewhere over the Rainbow is the one by Ray Charles off of Genius Love Company his final album. That song gives me goose bumps every time I hear it.

Bruce Springsteen singing James Taylor’s Mill Worker at the lifetime achievement tribute concert was unbelievably incredible.

We can argue what is the most beautiful song ever sung and everyone will have stron oppinions on the esubject. Though I would cast my vote for Tracy Chapmans "The Promise". That song gives me goosebumps and chills every time I hear it it is so amnazing.
