Check out the stuff Garcia and Grisman recorded.That is Jerry Garcia of Grateful Dead fame and David Grisman (mandolin God).If you are more of a "rocker" try Days of the New (1st Cd) or Alice in Chains Unplugged.

The acoustic version of "Bittersweet Symphony". It's just as great as the original version.

Try just about anything from Groove Lovers: "Mediterranean Star" or "Capri" or "Sunset Dream"


For something off the beaten path try Kora, for example "Senegal + Mauritania" by Kaouding Cissoko.

Rob O'Mara's "Songs from the Rafters" CD fits the bill.


on i-tunes, napster, rhapsody, etc..
