Men of eHA,

Do you watch and enjoy "chick flicks"?

Ever tear up at one?

Or, do you merely tolerate them because you enjoy hanging out with the "chicks" that like to watch these flicks?

OR, do you avoid them like the plague?

I watched Danica Patrick achieve a podium finish in an Indy Car race.

Does that count?

I thought "The Proposal" was a great movie. I like the fact that you never know where you will find love. You just have to realize that it is happening and be ready to go after it if you have to.
Some 'chick flicks' are good and some are bad. The good one are enjoyable. There is nothing wrong with connecting with your 'emotional side'.

I watch 'em all the time, and frequently enjoy them.

I think it got started when my daughter was in high school and used to aske me to watch them with her.

I can think of a few chick flicks I like:

1. Legally Blonde (the first one)
2. Cruel Intentions
3. Bring It On!
4. Mean Girls
5. The Devil Wears Prada
6. Hitch (I consider that a chick flick)
7. Sex and the City (the show, not the movie)
8. Heathers
9. The Notebook
10. The Brothers
11. Two Can Play That Game

I'm sure there are more.

I found this thread kinda late

Some of the 'chick flick" I own/have watched:

-Family Man (have watched it maybe eight times).
-Anna and The King (love the soundtrack).
-No Reservation (Catherine Zeta/Aaron Eckart)
-Soul Food
-Forever Young
(I think I can come up with some more if I think about it)

No bull, I will pick chick flick over sports any time, any day.

I've cried watching "The Champ" (but I was eight at that time) and last movie that made me teared up was I think it was miracle on 34th street? (was it the story about an orphan?). Another one that made me tear up...Transformer. Especially when Megan Fox was watching the sun on the hood of that car. Yes, I shed a tear at that beautiful sight.
