Monty Python and the Holy Grail
I almost died during my first viewing of this film ... couldn't breath (seriously).

Future viewings proved to be less and less amusing with each.

TP, I have found that Monty Python is best enjoyed with an alcoholic beverage. Somehow makes it much more hilarious. Perhaps your subsequent viewings were between bottles of wine?

Some good choices on here. I like Mel Brooks, though he isn't ever hysterically funny to me. Just good for a few laughs. The General with Buster Keaton makes me laugh -- hard -- each time. Others I love:

The Princess Bride: "You seem a decent fellow. I hate to kill you." -- Inigo "You seem a decent fellow, I hate to die." -Wesley, as the Man in Black

When Harry Met Sally: Harry: "Men and women can't be friends." Sally: "That's not true." H: "Yes it is. They can't be friends because the sex part always gets in the way." Sally: "I have plenty of male friends." H: "No you don't." S: "You're saying I'm having sex with these men without my knowledge?" H: "No. I'm saying they all want to have sex with you." S: "No they don't!" H: "Yes they do. A man can't be friends with a woman he finds attractive. He always wants to have sex with her." S:"So you're saying a man CAN be friends with a woman he DOESN'T find attractive." H: "No, you pretty much want to screw them too." (the lines go something along those lines)

Noises Off. Much Ado About Nothing. The Muppet Movie.

And if we open this up to comedians...watching Bill Cosby, Himself makes me tear up with laughter. The Dentist scene alone is therapy for a month. YouTube search for Bill Cosby Dentist and watch it if you need to laugh till it hurts.

Have fun!
