John Hughes dies of heart attack while out for a walk in NYC. He was 59.

He was involved with many great classics.

Many of his movies are on my (long) list of favorites. It is a loss for the entertainment industry, creativity and the voice of youth.

Certainly is a bummer. I was surprised to find out that he was the brains behind the Vacation franchise. Anyone who can invent a character like Cousin Eddie is a pure genius!
