...and how were they?

I've seen:

-Star Trek, which I LOVED, despite not being a "Trekkie" at all.

-UP, which was completely adorable -- would be a GREAT date movie.

-Hangover, which was hysterical!!

How about you?

Saw Transformers yesterday. Too long, but still freaking awesome. If you go in expecting nothing but explosions caused by alien robots that transform into vehicles, it won't disappoint.

Star Trek was great. The summer blockbuster kickoff that Wolverine should have been (also saw that). And no, I have never considered my myself a Trekkie/er but I know the shows and characters to a degree.

Finally saw Crank 2. As a fan of the first, I have no complaints.

Fanboys was hilarious. A good movie for any fan of Star Wars or Trek.

Saw Taking of Pelham 1-2-3. Entertaining, but not great. Yesterday I saw Public Enemies. I enjoy movies based on real people/events. I think Michael Mann is a good director, but I didn't feel blown away by this movie; not even Johnny Depp and Christian Bale were good enough to help the film make any noise against Transformers 2.

Oh yeah, I also saw Wolverine. I thought it wasn't bad. I was especially impressed with Liev Schreiber's acting.

Saw "The Proposal" and loved it! Also saw "My Sister's Keeper". Very thought provoking esp. since I had a daughter that donated her kidney to her sister (both were adults).

The Proposal = funny, romantic comedy, tiniest bit of nudity (not that you could see anything) in a really funny scene. Loved her ponytail!

Night at the Museum 2 = even more enjoyable than the 1st

FANBOYS was flippin' amazing!!!

I watched Public Enemies yesterday. It was a-okay. Then again, I do believe that Johnny Depp is just fun to look at

Night at the Museum 2: very cute; my kids loved it.

Land of the Lost: Quite possibly the STUPIDEST movie I've ever seen and it wasn't even particularly funny. FYI--not really appropriate for kids. There was lots of language and several scenes with a great deal of innuendo.

The Hangover - Absolutely hilarious and one of the more enjoyable movies I've seen for a long time.

Transformers 2 - Thought it was ok. The action and effects were cool, story was weak (probably even weaker than the first one), and some of the new transformers (the twins in particular) were annoying.

Friday the 13th (the remake) - Really liked it.

Charlie Wilson's War - Also, really liked it.
