What happens if you try to do that? Sounds dangerous....

I know I'm going to go asap tomorrow, and see it in the new fancy theater here. It's showing in the balcony section of the theater which is for people 21 and over only, and it has a bar and lounge whoo hoo!! It's my birthday gift to myself even though my birthday is next Friday lol..

Anyone else planning to see Iron Man with the very sexy Robert Downey, Jr?? I'm normally not interested in those kinds of movies, but I LOVE Robert Downey, Jr. It comes out next Friday, which is the week before my birthday, so I think I'll treat myself to the movie for my birthday
I admit I haven't quite decided. I find Robert Downey Jr. to be incredibly sexy with his particular brand of looks, intelligence, wit and intensity. At the same time though, I have to wonder what possessed someone of his dramatic talent to be in a superhero movie.

Not that I have anything against superhero movies at all... just that we've seen some good ones over the last few years and someone which were horribly, horribly bad.

I would hate to sully my image of Robert Downey Jr. by seeing him in a *bad* superhero movie.

Uh, Oh, should I be scared??

I'll let you all know what I think of the movie tomorrow, I won't spoil anything though. I was going to go to the first show at noon, but it is already 2 am and I'm staying up to watch the Survivor that I missed because of the darn weather reports taking it off. So I won't be to bed before 3, I doubt I'll be going to a movie at noon.

Encase no one reads the other thread, I thought I would post this here also. I don't want to go into much detail as I don't want to ruin it for anyone. Nothing irratates me more about movies than to have them ruined for me before I see them.

Grr.. I hit something on my computer and my whole thing was lost.. So starting over!

I thought it was pretty good. 1. Gorgeous Man (Robert Downey Jr.) 2. Gorgeous cars (I love cars) 3. Lots of Action (I love action films) 4. Humor (I like a movie that can make me laugh to). I'm glad I went during the day time shows because all the seats for the night shows for it were all sold out! They were puting up notes all over the theater to let everyone know that the evening shows were sold out.

LOVED it...saw it at the 10:45 showing last night (wayyyyy past my bedtime.) I think this was the best superhero movie I've ever seen - esp. for an origins film. RDjr was GREAT!

Long - but it didn't drag at all.

If you didn't see it yet - STAY TILL ALL THE CREDITS ARE DONE!!
