How about a second date movie? ... now I can see an OP. "Well on our first date he took me to a movie "He is not that into you", and then poofed! so do you guys think he was being polite?"

I haven't read the book or watched the trailor, so I'm not an expert on anything but the title.

And I despise that title.Women, especially, are susceptible to insecurity about their man, that "he doesn't love me because I'm ___"

Bunk. Like I said, I'm no expert, but seems to me that writing a book, then a movie, telling women that they're just as ugly, fat, bloated, and disgusting as they feel, and that ~of course~ he doesn't love you, is a wretchedly feminist way of looking at things.

ok- i have not seen the movie or read the book- but i did watch the trailers. your response is probably appropriate because the movie seems to be about miscommunication. you know nothing about the story but are going to tell us all about it.

GREAT!

people talking about things they know nothing about.

i love these boards!

I definitely plan to see it. It looks funny, and a great movie for maybe me & all my girls to get together and watch on a girls night out.

I've read the book...it's hysterically funny, but makes a lot of sense in explaining [to women] why men do the things they do in the dating arena...though it could probably be turned around & said that women do the same things in their own ways.
