Have you ever read or watched one of those programs that reviews movies to help determine if you should go see a certain movie? I used to read the movie reviews in my local newspaper and also religiously watched Siskel and Ebert's movie review program. I quickly discovered just how bias Gene Siskel was in regard to scifi and horror movies. Siskel panned the original Star Wars movie. He never admitted he was wrong right up to his death. I prefer to watch the trailers at the movies or on television to get an idea if I am going to like a movie. I also pay attention to who is acting in the movie as I have a list of actors I would not pay to see.
