What do you think about stories that get made into movies over and over again? Books like Dracula or Pride and Prejudice? Do you have the same frustration factor or are those fair game?

I actuallyreally liked the recent remake of Dawn of the Dead, but yeah the Keanu "The Day the Earth Stood Still" was awful. AWFUL!!!

Well its like any televised or cinematic adaptation of classic literature, eventually its just going to water down the original meaning into mindless trivium.

How many times have we seen A Christmas Carol redone? After a while the story becomes meaningless when compared to the interpretation.

The Hills Have Eyes remake was awesome, but the remake of The Last House On The Left looks atrocious.

i absolutely hated the original Last House and could not believe they remade it. I've seen the trailers, and while id like to see horror win the weekend box office when it comes, i will not be seeing it.

I always liked JANE EYRE~! My favorite classic. There were at least two made for TV versions of the film. Original with Joan Fontaine was the best though.

I would love to see a remake of 'The Shining'.
Steven Weber (from Wings) did one a few years back. Made for TV movie though. COMPLETELY different, family friendly ending. (but i think it was the original King ending from the book?)
