I have started a new group on eHA-dedicated to support women in their goal of losing weight. This is a women’s only group. The reason I started it is because over and over I have read other womens postings here about how hard it is to find a date when overweight. Lets face it-men prefer height/weight proportional women just as much as women prefer the same in men.

There are other groups here on eHA where dieting and weight loss surgery is discussed. This isn’t the format for this group. We will concentrate on food planning, shopping, posting our daily calorie and meal plans and checking in with weight loss. While support is the primary reason, this will be a hard core group. No Excuses are accepted..what goes into your mouth is a decision you make. You have to choose to make the right decision with every mouthful or you are going to fail.

I know weight loss is difficult because I have done it-and successfully kept the weight off for many years. Appropriate diet and exercise is the ONLY way to lose weight. Even if you have weight loss surgery, you still have to audit your food intake and exercise. There are no magic bullets to weight loss.

NO EXCUSES-women only weight loss Group -eHarmony Advice

Is the URL for the new group.

Ladies, if this is an issue for you. If you are ready to commit to a future of reasonable eating and exercise in exchange for reasonable weight loss, then please join, get support and give support.

This IS NOT a place to complain or say things aren’t fair. This IS hard core daily check in, food plan posting, NO EXCUSE weight loss.

Join me-and perhaps you will become the person you want to be.

hi. i have been working out pretty regularly for a number of years. i have recently added a scale and a notebook of what i eat and how much i excercise. guess we'll see how much these tools help. i already have seen how an extra 400 calories can make the weight loss stop in its tracks. dang it.
