I keep trying to tell people this!

And not just for the immune system. I spent nearly a year trying to talk my mom into taking vitamin D to help reduce her arthritis pain. About three weeks after she finally listened to me, she calls me and says "I started taking the vitamin D like you said, and my pain is much better!" I wish more people actually informed themselves on these things rather than messing up their bodies with unnecessary drugs.
Vitamin D is a beautiful thing.

I know it seems like the threat is over, but the H1N1 flu will most likely wave again in early spring. I unfortunately know two people who died from complications of the flu. One was only 5 years old and had no high risk factors. He was in ICU and on a vent and ECMO for 2 difficult weeks prior to his death.

This is the first year I got any flu shot and made sure my kids got it. I had no affects - not even pain at the site.

Please consider getting the shot.
