I haven't been modded since becoming a vcl. I'm pretty sure you're way-powerful, LBMM. Somehow, that doesn't worry me. lol!

You know, the VCL "powers" changed over time. I was in the first group, and there were all kinds of things that the next group could do that we couldn't (grrrr...). It took awhile to figure that one out...lol.

So, the first cohort may in fact have gotten modded, despite being VCLs (not that I've ever gotten modded much, anyway, of course...). Now, apparently you all are omnipotent!

To respond to some of the VCLs' posts about behaviour:

The original question, to be clear, had absolutely nothing to do with bad words, or any attempt to break the rules. It arose when 2 completely innocent posts got modded, I suspect for unusual (but innocent, dammit!!) vocab.

(I started thinking about how to trip the filter after the fact. I'm suppressing those urges, though!)

If the next group gets omniscience I'm going to be really annoyed.

Easiest thing to do is find a VCL who's online and ask us to copy/paste the text of your modded post to you in a PM. You can repost. We can delete original. Inelegant but effective.

I'm going to wait a while, so by the time we make it to the ninth generation VCL, I'll apply...maybe we will have jedi-like powers at that time

It's been awhile since I've had a post modded, but I'd love to see with a future system the chance to see what was modded flagged and the chance to edit your post right there.
