Brneyedangel just began her 16th year of teaching. She works in career technical education as an English and Applied Communications instructor with students who are in 12th grade, and she is also a curriculum specialist. In her free time, she enjoys singing, reading, writing, hiking, and traveling. The most common question brneyedangel is asked about herself here at eHA is the story behind her screen name. The “brneyed” part obviously comes from her brown eyes, and the angel part comes from her grandmother, who used to always call her what sounded like “aingie” when she was a child. When she finally asked her grandmother what that meant, it was discovered that her grandma was actually saying “angel,” but her thick Hungarian accent made it difficult to understand. Ironically, her other grandmother always gave her angel related items—small statues, magnets, and artwork. Since she was very close to both of her grandmothers, it just seemed to fit nicely to round out her screen name!

At first, I was content to just read what people had to say, but slowly but surely, the forums dragged me into giving out advice. I find myself in a unique position because I can honestly say that I've felt both failure and success from Eharmony and feel that I have much to offer those who see only one side or the other. Now, I've taken the next step and offered to step up as a volunteer. So here I am.

Steve joined eHarmony Advice in May of 2009 in an effort to both get advice on how to better improve his dating life and also to help others as they journey through the adventures of dating. When not getting or giving advice he finds himself busy with his hobbies which include amateur radio, computers, and photography. Steve is also interested in music, politics, travel and film and occasionally tries to be creative in the kitchen.

yoga_gal has always lived in the deep south but loves to venture out and travel to new places and meet all kinds of people. She is never bored due to her many interests. Some of her passions include whitewater rafting, crewing for a hot air balloon club, yoga and fitness, a thought provoking book club, cooking and gardening. Although she looks forward to finding the right guy to explore the world with, she is very happy with her life right now.
