Hello all

I am a single mom of a wonderful boy who is almost 4 and has autism, sensory processing disorder, adhd and epilepsy. I have been seperated (and now divorced) since I was 4 months pregnant. I've just recently started again.

I certainly find it a challenge and am looking forward to being a part of the group.

Welcome to the group. I have personally needed a site like this for about 3 years. I have a 7 y/o autistic son and I think I've learned how to balance his needs and dating. It can be done. Patience helps.lol

Welcome to both of you!!!

I started this site last year for those of us brave enough to venture out or thinking about venturing out into the dating world...our children's disabilities pose special challenges in regards to finding the time to get out and meet new people.

Its so important that we do...it keeps us balanced, happier, better parents

It has been a bit slow lately, so I was glad to see new members...

I have a 13 year old boy, with severe autism and epilepsy...he continually makes progress and has exceeded all expectations.

I have been dating a man who seems to accept all the challenges in my life...

HI, I am just really getting into this whole group thing and that is a first start. I was really feeling alone until I started adding my thoughts so your first great step was communicating here. Some days I wonder who the “teacher” is in my family.
