We've heard about about men having certain waist:hip ratio preferences. How about a poll to see what we eHA men prefer. Let us know which # you find most attractive.

I heard (can't remember where but it was in some study on attractiveness and biology) that the most attractive waist to hip ratio for a woman is .7

So if you divide your waist measurement by your hip measurement, no matter what your size is, if the proportion is .7 you are doing really well for yourself!

Yes, there have been a number of studies that have shown this. There have also been some limitations in these studies...but I won't go into that at the moment. There are some specific characteristics of the figures in the original post, which I'll post a little later on if/when some of the men have responded.

Hmm ... 5, 8, 9 and 6 would be my top 4 (from fave to fourth fave), but all are pleasing shapes if she's purty.

Certainly 'purty' is also nice. But, of course this type of selection doesn't address that factor. Also, in studies like this you have to select only one figure that you most prefer.
