One can get a H.S. equivalence .... why not college? Would you want one? Why don't U's sell them? Seems easy money and it's not a real degree. Seems to me a college could sell one for $2500-$5000 and sell hundreds a year. And if you don't pass, oh well, you test again.

Why spend two or four years if you have real life experience and simply want to present an employer with a more objective measure of your thinking or knowledge skills?

We do have something like this in Australia. For example: you can study to be an Electrical or Mechanical Engineer at TAFE and then do exactly the same course for higher cost to get the University Qualification. Given that our Government will assist with both, I think it a waste of money which could be better used where it will benefit more than one person. Such as the appalling state of our roads.

Can people with no undergraduate degree take GRE exams? These are supposed to measure your educational level and readiness for grad school, so if someone's life experience is equivalent to an undergraduate degree, they should be able to get GRE scores equivalent to a person with an undergrad degree.
