Ok, so I have bachelor party to go to in March. I have an idea of what I'm going to wear. But something that has always bothered me is my hair!

I thought of slicking it back, as it may look sexier. Currently, I brush my hair forward and then two the side. For men who don't know this, if you brush your hair forward and part it doesn't leave a cowlick or a line down the parted side--if you get what I mean. The only problem is this kind of ruins my look as it is more for a business setting rather than a party setting.

So, slicking the hair back. Good or bad? Any hair suggestions? Do you want me to post how I part my hair? Keep in mind I have thick black hair, not curly but not flat either. Thanks for your suggestions!

I always thought it looks great, especially if it's not too short. For a party it'll look great!

why do you want to look sexy at a bachelor party? only men will be there!

for your question:

sometimes it looks good. it depends. but, styled hair is always sexy on a guy because it looks like he cares about his appearance.

You and the bride are on the same page on that one. I'm reserving my constitutional right to remain silent on that one.

I like the pics Sofie put up. The only problem I have with slicking my hair back is that usually sleazy guys do that. However, I don't know what else to do with my hair.

Thanks for the reply!

What about the messy, spikey look? I'm not a big fan of the slicked back look. Looks greasy and... I want to run my fingers through my guys hair.

What about these? I don't know how to post pictures... Look at the pictures towards the bottom. Especially next to the guy with the red hair wearing the leather thong (not at him of course, yuck). I love those types of styles.

I agree! I do not like the slicked back hair style at all, even on the photos MokkieSofie posted. Several years back the mayor of our city started wearing his hair slicked back. It actually made the front page of the paper. He looked like a greasy weasel.

A guy in my office started wearing his hair slicked back a couple months ago. All the women in the office talked about how awful he looked, once we got done laughing about him. We couldn't believe his wife let him out of the house like that.

Don't do it!!!! Most anything is better than the slicked back look.

Thanks for the reply Katie. Ok, I looked at the pics. On the last box on the upper-left hand corner is the way I typically brush my hair. It's an easy look to do. Just forward brush and then part and boom you got that style.

Ok, assuming I keep my hair as normal--like the pic Katie indicated. What hair products are good for men?

I like my hair to stay in it's place, but not look wet or greasy. Is hair spray the only option? I know gels and maybe mouse are probably not good options.
