I know I haven't been on as much for the past few months and it is with good reason. Today is a very special day because someone here changed my life and made all dreams reality. Nothing is impossible and waiting for the right person is something I knew was possible but not when, how, or when until this one person found me and chose the right moment to say these words in a PM - "On a serious note, you are perfect."

He is now my husband and just returning from a deployment overseas. If you have ever pictured you perfect GEEK/NERD partner and wondered if they exist - yes, they do. If you wondered how much love and strength it would take to experience such a love much less wait for it - yes, you can. If you ever thought you could do the impossible for yourself and the one you love but wasn't sure - guess what, it is ALL possible.

On behalf of my husband and I, we are grateful for the opportunity and this community is helping us find each other and prove that all things are possible including our perfect love. Thanks!

yay! for you!! i did not know you married- at least, i don't think i did. but i knew you had gone missing. congrats! did you meet him here?

it sounds as if you did. this place seems to be a vertible hotbed of match- making.

one year ago, life was much different. i was not yet ready to dive back in to the dating pool. i was preparing to change my career and relocate on the other side of the continent. both have gone sometimes well and sometimes not so much.

as far as finding that certain someone, i am hopeful. i do believe that she is out there. perhaps not that far away.

and again, hooray for you!!!!!!!!

Thanks NY! Don't give up because as long as you feel it - its there waiting or looking. I knew what I felt but once it happened it was automatic. Yes, I met him here and we are grateful for the experience.
