It appears our leader, 'JustMe27" has decided (sadly) to leave eHA and the group that he founded.

I find this very sad as many of his informative posts have been helpful to me.

I hope someone will pick this up as a volunteer mom or dad..someone much more qualified than I.

Yeah. It's unfortunate.

I know you have your own Group. I can't volunteer for this. It's all I can do to open my Merrill Lynch and Vanguard statements.

If nobody volunteers in a week or so, I can PM a Friend of mine, a VCL, and ask what happens in these cases.

Hey, Roxy.....check out a thread I did.....Crazy Ladies and Sexist Pigs. I have a special reason for sending you there.

I don't want to do it ... not interested in putting in the effort that makes a group work. But I don't want the group to die, I want someone else to do it! Selfish, eh?

j8a & Roxy ... I don't think the leader of this group has to be a finance expert. It's a peer-advice group about finances. The leader just has to be good at group stuff ... start threads when it's getting slow, seek new members, that kind of thing. I guess the leader also handles reviewing modded posts? not sure about that.

Personally I think either of you'd be great at it. But don't do it if you don't want to ...

Sassafras..I actually think a group of this specific kind does need a leader with knowledge about finances..as part of a group leaders responsibility is to be the cheerleader and start topics when the traffic is slow.

Maybe we can get D-Lion to be the boss..he likes telling people what to do?

And he loves to talk money!

Or what about Jo? Isn't she a CPA?

You know you could post in Everything Else that you're seeking a group leader for this and see what pops out?

If I can be the Boss, who will follow my Directions?

One thing I have learned, is that nobody follows Directions!

Ladies, shall we agree to follow the Directions of a Frog? At least long enough to make him our Exalted Green (like money) Boss?

What's it gonna take? Are we gonna have to kiss him, too?

Sign on the dotted line first.....Oh, Exalted Green Money Boss!

I've kissed too many frogs to give it away for free.
