Avatar left me speechless...

I also want to see Sherlock Holmes. They will have to provide allot more than violence and film tricks to satisfy me... Anyone see this one?

My favorite Sherlock... I'm glad they did another movie... if it has the right elements.

Seen any movies lately? What would you like to see?

I'm on my way to see Sherlock Holmes this evening. If I'm perfectly honest about it though, I am much more about a shirtless Robert Downey Jr. than a lover of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

Saw Sherlock on xmas day ... great visuals! Ridiculous story. Too violent for me.

Robert Downey ... his character is hot in the same way House MD is hot ... whatta total jerk! so attractive! you'd hate to have him in your real life!

I liked it just for the rendering of 1800's London. Production design and cinematography get an A. RDJr gets a he's-hot. Everything else is forgettable.

God I hardly ever go to movies! What fun to actually have an opinion on a current movie! Thanks, Dennis!

Thank You!

I was afraid it would be more violence and less substance... I'll probably wait to see it when it hits the DVD stores. Too bad. They had an opportunity to build on a legend.

I saw Avatar last week. It was good, but not great.

I was unable to "suspend my disbelief." I think that the plot line wasn't realistic enough to revolve around humans. The entire remote controlled avatar concept seemed too bizarre to me.

I loved all the scenes that were exclusively set in the alien world. And it was definitely a visually beautiful movie.

The Navi were not quite as voluptuous as the group picture here. Less busty and more willowy. And they had five fingers, I think.

I saw Avatar last week. It was showing in both 2-D and 3-D at the same theater and probably isn't really worth seeing in 2-D. The story line was OK but the cinematography was fantastic. All the more reason to see the 3-D version.

I can't do 3D movies, because I have low vision in my right eye. 3D only works because of the interaction of both fields of vision. One eyed people just see blur.

Well it is a new take on an established character, which is fun. The "take" though is he's kind of a nasty jerk, mean to his friends, and ... who knew! ... he's a Ninja warrior!
