Since the University of Orygun Ducks are headed off to Pasadena for the Rose Bowl, it's only fair that I hostess the party-for those of you who wake up on New Years Day.

Remember, though, we are 3 hours behind East Coast time, so you can sleep in.

yeah..sigh..sometimes its just embarrassing , being from oregon..what with the big Civil War game being between the Ducks and the Beavers.

I mean really-we can take this crunchy granola earth loving spotted owl saving stuff a bit too far. Why cant we have the Screaming Panthers and the Violent Voles or something. Ducks/Beavers....FAIL

Oh I like that--kinda like the Violent Yams too..

WA state has the Cougars and the Huskys and their colors are much cooler than either the Ducks or Beavs. Life isn't fair sometmes.

On a better note, I did go to USC and rooted for the Trojans-back when they totally dominated every sport on the west coast.

Well all I'm saying is if they're in orange sauce you might just as well turn the oven on....

Football booth announcer #1 : "And it's the #2 Papercuts coming into town. Last year they had a few injuries with while copying football plays. Evidently there was a nasty stapler in the room"

Football booth announcer #2 "That's right Garrad and they are coming into the home of the feared Mosquitoes who are hungry tonight and looking for blood. No body in the conference seems to be able to catch them as they fly to the #1 spot.

Ok we are ready for the kickoff, pass out the ammunition and let's go to war!

I hear ye. What can you do? I'm a camper and love nature so the name Ducks is cool with me. They might be a little flatfooted though? Of course I'd perfer the Barfing Volcano or Stewin Magmas
