You're a time traveler, and you can go back in time to anywhere or anywhen (but not forward). Assuming you don't have to worry about "time paradoxes" and the like (meeting yourself, affecting the "timeline", etc.), what time would you travel to, and what would you bring with you?

BTW, you can only carry the clothes on your back and a piece of carry-on size luggage...

I would go back to the age of the Spanish inquisition with a tank, several millon gallons of fuel, oil, and several million rounds of amunition... oh... and I'd need a cute little translator because I don't speak spanish or Latin... No really, I don't...

I am attracted to Cave Days. I would really like to find out exactly what was going on then! Would take a warm blankie, good strong shoes, and a lifetime supply of antibiotics and aspirin.

Of course you realize (assuming you could fit all that stuff in your "carry-on"), that more than likely when you returned to the present, then we'd ALL be speaking Spanish as the dominant language (plus "adios" to the cute translator!)...

Only for a couple of days, I wouldn't mind going back to 1942. To try on being "Rosie the Riveter". I'd bring my cool Black and Decker drill in my carry on, with all of my drill bits.

I don't think so... I wouldn't be going there to give them an advantage, I'd be going there to kick some inquisitor butt...

Cool! Kinda like "El Cid" (starring Charlton Heston), only with lotsa firepower and beatin' up on the Spanish religious nuts instead of the Moors!
