So, are we disappointed with the "crash into the moon" mission?
The lack of plume seems to disturb everyone.
But I am only interested in the search for water.
When will they give us that information?

This is what I think, take it or leave it:

This bombing the moon thing reminds me of typical stuff guys do when they're little kids. For example: a girl sees an insect and says: 'What is that?' Then, she stoops down carefully and takes a good long look at it, carefully-so as not to disturb it.

A boy sees the same bug, STOMPS it hard so it's innards and legs go flying, and THEN bends over and says: 'What was that?'

I think these folks are willing to take the most minute evidence for life and turn it into billion dollar missions. I don't understand why the social-left doesn't scream about this... there's just bigger problems here on Earth for science to solve.

The left is on a mission to get as far away from the right as possible?

Hey, a guy needs to get out and kick up the dust every once and awhile... It's been done on Earth for thousands of years now and we're bored... so now we found out we can kick up some dust on other planets and assorted space debris...

So it's like this... hey, Tom... bet you can't hit that comet! Oh yeah? You can't even hit the broad side of the moon... and so you have the space race.

You are so right!
As kids, boys always want to throw things at something, or into the pond, or at each other.
This (like ICBMs) is just another manifestation of that behavior...

You have your beak pecking, pecking, pecking... at who knows what? We have our dust kicking... perfectly acceptable behavior...
