I dated a guy who smoked it (a lot) and his company would test. He would go to SO much effort just to pass the test - buying urine, strapping on the heat pack, basically wearing a colostomy bag all day until the test.

It always amazed me how much trouble he was willing to go to just to smoke it. Nothing against it, but it was a huge amount of stress for him to smoke something so he could relax. Huh?
lol... that's pretty gross...

My job requires that I submit to random drug tests. Someone will either leave a letter on my desk or my supervisor will hand me one. It tells me to be at such and such location at this time. Once I get there in the testing room, I have to empty my pockets. I'm handed an empty sealed container and I have to sign a piece of paper saying that I received a sealed container. I break the seal in front of the tech, and go into the bathroom make my deposit and return it to the table. It's then sealed in front of me and I have to sign another piece of paper stating that. It's then placed in a plastic bag and sealed with the appropriate personal info inside. I have to check the bag and make sure it's sealed and initial the tape that seals it. Then I can go back to work.
As far as poppy seeds go. They did a show on "Myth Busters" about the effect of eating poppy seed bagels has on drug tests. It was busted. You would have to eat a minimum of two dozen poppy seed bagels to raise the slightest red flag.
Did you mean to post this in the marijuana leagalization thread? This is the blood type/personality thread.

Oops! I just found my blood donor card and I'm not the blood type I thought I was! I'm O+, not A. So let's see if this is any more accurate:

People with blood type O people are outgoing, energetic and social. They are the most flexible of the blood types. They easily start up projects but often have trouble following through because they give up easily. They are flighty and not too dependable. O types always say what's on their mind. They value the opinion of others and like to be the center of attention.

Unfortunately, all very accurate.

Also, people with O blood are extremely self-confident.

Nope, I'm an insecure lil thing and the brashness is just a cover.

So, I have to say, it is pretty interesting that the proper blood type personality is much more accurate. Hmm...

Hadn't heard about the Japanese preference for certain blood types, and hard to see how useful that might be, considering types A and O outnumber all the others by 2 to 1!

Another weird Japanese 'thang' is the one about "Sanpaku eyes" I always thought was kinda interesting. That's where people have the whites of the eye showing between the iris and the lower lid.

Not to hijack, but FYI, Sanpaku eyes (meaning "three whites" in Japanese) are thought to denote superiority and beauty, while others believe it's a sign of physical and spiritual imbalance. Famous "Sanpaku" include Lincoln, JFK, Hitler, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, Princess Diana and John Lennon (who mentions it in his song "Aisumasen/I'm Sorry").

Of course there's probably some truth to all those systems, including DISC (the 4-quadrant personality test used in business), the Enneagram (based on the Kabbala), Myers-Briggs (based on Jung), and even astrology (my own fav).

Oh?

Well I had ONE poppy seed bagel an hour before my test and I did flunk it and that was a damn embarrassing phone call and they wanted me to pay $85 (1985) to redo the test and the testing facility was about 90 min. away so I said goodbye to CompUSA.
