I recently came upon this video which askes people to boycott Bill Maher's documentary "Religulous" (which I previously brought up in another post.) The two brothers in this boycott video, to me, represent what is driving our world down the toilet. I've never seen such ignorance in the name of Christianity! Please view the video and tell me what you think.

BTW, Bill Maher quite clearly makes a point of stating that he was brought up Catholic with a Jewish mother. His religious stance is currently either atheist or agnostic.

That one is just hilarious. I want a transcript! Definitely worth losing 10 minutes of your life for. You'll learn things that we all need to know, like :

"Obviously, Christ is not going to come back as a Mexican."

Yes, but of course he will come back as an Anglo-Saxon, nordic, aryan, blue-eyed blonde, right?

How about we boycott their dogmatic, regressive, anti-knowledge/science, literalist, religion instead (or at least their take on it)? Oh wait, most of us in this groupalready do just that!!

Theraptureright satires fundamentalist Christians so severely that it is almost impossible to tell the difference! Check out their site when they take on the Westboro Baptist Church:

The U S Coast Guard is evil because they save people from drowning... These people are clearly mentally ill...

And I really didn't know that there were people trying to have sex with shrimp and spiders... I'd laugh if these people weren't so scary... Can't someone declare war on them?

Ha! The movie was anti-religion not just christianity. I got to the point where they said they understood what Robert Tilton was saying when he was speaking in tongues, then had to turn it off while shaking my head ruefully. Unbelievable.

The projected return of the Mesoamerican savior Quetzalcoatl in 2012 makes that a distinct possibility.

Funny how Cortes and his band of roughly 500 Spaniards were able to subdue an Aztec Empire the first time, due in part to the belief that it was the return of Quetzalcoatl.
