Boston Cream Pie is actually a pie and probably a really good one to throw, since it's nice and mushy and full of whipping cream.

Frosting is important though not medically necessary.

For example, Kibbie's rum cake!

But carrot cake is not carrot cake without cream cheese icing... LOTS of cream cheese icing. EXTRA LOTS, actually.
