I'm sitting here with $25 worth of Halloween candy and no trick or treaters yet. It's 6:20. Where are they? I normally get between 50 and 100 kids!!

I don't know. There are some running around my neighborhood but I'm not treating this year as I seem to have gotten a nasty cold. I doubt parents would appreciate me bestowing germy candy on their little ones.

Shame. I like seeing the costumes.

Got any Reese's?

Sorry LBMM, no Reese's this year. A number of my neighbors have kids with peanut allergies, so I opted for the peanut-free stuff. I have Kit Kat, Coffee Crisp, Aero and Smarties.

One of my neighbors pulled a great stunt. She set up a table with a bowl of candy, except it was actually two tables and her head was poking out from between them and into the bowl, but she was competely hidden from view. The candy bowl had a lid on it, and a sign beside it that said "Help yourself if you dare". Whenever anyone took the lid off to help themselves, there was a live head floating in among the candy. It got quite the screams!

Thanks. We dressed up at work yesterday. I'm the only sniffling, sneezing vampire I've known. I had be careful not to sneeze my fangs out!

Yeah, I have some cheaper candy too. I give everyone one of the chocolates plus 3 or 4 other candies. The few kids out this year are getting an extra generous handful - and in some cases the parents are getting treats too
