Since I was allergic to him, I explained to the woman fostering him that you might be interested, because he lost him mom at such an early age and all. Don't tell me you turned him down, too?? His self-esteem must be so low by now...

Don't you think, Angel? I'm not saying he's not adorable! He is! But definitely funny-looking!
You think our new cat is "funny-looking?" Hmmf.

Tonight we brought our 80 lb dog over with us. I hope the the hotel doesn't kick us out, or we'll be homeless...

Breakfast buffet, fresh-baked cookies in the afternoon, happy hour (beer and wine) in the early evening...and maid service!

I'm beginning to think that our old house was a lot of work.

It appears that the bellboys speak no English, however -- would that be a problem for my "Room Service Boyfriend" I wonder?

Laced! This same thing happend to my mom when she was 3 weeks from givin birth to me. Only it was a pump from the cistern that broke, an they had jus filled it before they went on vacation for a week, an it not only flooded the whole house, but the basement too an it burnt out the pump after all the dry pumpin it was doin after it ran outta water.
The alpha insurance people didnt fuss with my mom, jus got the work done in a lil over 3weeks because she was a pregnant and a mother of 3 toddlers an a step mom to a female preteen. (worst nightmare much?)
She went into labor the day the house was due to be finished, an then came home to a newly remodeled home that they had to come back an fix, because they were in such a hurry that they left REALLY sharp corners an junk. So yea.

Moral of the story is; Dont mess with a mom, they'll eat you for dinner.

I feel for ya, an I hope that you can find a room service boyfriend, AND that you enjoy the respite from house work while in this situation. Lord knows you could use a mini vacay of sorts.
