Has anybody ever used a professional matchmaker? Is it a worthwhile thing to do, or just embarassing?

I'd imagine that it's only embarrassing if *you* are embarrassed by it...wouldn't the people that you're being matched up with be using the service too?

Just so ya know, we're a little "off" in this group and this could get off-topic really quickly. If you're looking for only serious replies, you might want to post on one of the main boards...

But we do advice too...we're just kind of quirky about it. Welcome. Have a cookie.

Apparently, I'm due for the arrival of an 'Emperor' in my life (according to my last Tarot card reading). What kind of cookies would you require to make that happen?

Depends on what kind of Emperor you are expecting:

Emperor penguin requires mackeral cookies

Emperor condom (large size in Japan) requires Wasabi cookies

Napoleon - well, any French cookie will do

... an Emperor... and EMPEROR... someone needs some newer tarot cards!!

I have this urge to run out and rent "Fidler on the Roof" and "Hello Dolly" I've been the victim of amature matchmakers. Little old Italian grandmothers trying to set me up with their granddaughters in my younger days.
I can contribute some pizzeles to the cookie pool.

I've been trying to lure men with cookies for years. All that's happened is that I have a gaggle of 9 year old boys who follow me around constantly.
