it's sharp/nippy cheese that's been processed so that it softens at room temperature (like cream cheese) The McLarens comes in a little red tub like cream cheese. I'm sure there must be some kind of similar product in other places. I've bought a different kind of this cheese before & it came in a crock.

Would I be correct in thinking that Rice Crispies is cereal? I'm thinking they may be our Rice Bubbles (Snap, Crackle, Pop!) With the McLaren's cheese - is this the product you would also normally use as the base ingredient for cheesecake filling? I'm thinking it may be Philadelphia cheese here.

It's sharp/nippy cheddar cheese so cookies are cheese colored. You got it on the snap crackle pop.
