I come to this office to sit on eha all day an be entertained as well as get an give advice. An I get paid to do it...

Ok so not so much, but I wish.

I'm dealin with this daggon sinus infection an every time I switch to 'somethin better' It has a diff side effect for me, regular claritin 24hrs makes me way to sleepy for some reason, and claritian-D 12 hrs puts my brain on fast forward an my body on rewind.
An it drivin me insane, an I'd like to get rid of sinuses all together, is that possible? Have them removed like an unwanted blimish that marrs my perfect day?

It'd be nice if I could, but since my brain is on overdrive, an my body says its nap time, I need some entertainment.

So my thought was to come on eHa an see what crazy kooky stories everyone has that involve OTC meds for your cold/flu/stuffy/runny/sore throat/nose/head/ sinuses.

Whatever the case may be, funny, scary, sad, funny (did I type that already?) wacked out or jus plan silly.

Tell me your stories! Please, no really I wanna know if its jus me that has off the wall reactions or if I have company...
On your mark

get set

GO! ...

Work?! Yesterday, I prepared 22 data scripts to recycle numbers ... and I prepared every single one of them with an error present. Not happy Jan!

I've done the following to try and ditch a cold/sore throat/runny nose:

~ Taken herbal cold and flu remedies ... my heart raced, exactly like I was jittery from too much caffeine.

~ Whisky and golden syrup. Sometimes just whisky. The premise being the whisky burns away rubbish on my throat and the golden syrup soothes the sore throat. I think it works, I can breathe normally after a few sips.

~ Heat up the hot pack pillow and stick it against my chest, seems to help clear up and congestion there.

Ah, so that's what a hot toddy is, I never had one before. Yes, sleep works wonders ... the whisky helps out somewhat there!
