How about when you need to rehang your gate 'cause your kid climbed on it so many times and now it won't open in the right direction, and you need said kid's help because rehanging a gate is a two person job, and he keeps wandering off to chase butterflies and the like and then you finally get the gate hung on the new hinges and you're all ready to roll a new bale into the horse pen but then there's ants on the bottom of the bale and SOMEbody is a weenie and is afraid an ant will get on him and you have to remind him just don't put your hands where the stupid ants are and the gate is open and the horses are eying freedom and you're trying to get the bale in and....and....um....what were we talking about?
This reminds me of the time of when the cat got out and went up a tree. I had to push SOMEbody (must have been your kid's twin brother )up a ladder into to get the cat but HE didn't want to touch the tree because there was bugs on it. Gah! It was dark, we couldn't see and I was becoming unhinged trying to get the cat before he jumped down and get lost in the dark.
(We finally taught the dog to chase the cat and hold him down if said cat got out.)
