i believe that the clear cut frontal approach is often the most effective.. I have found that "get the #*@% outta here!!" while firing several rounds into the ceiling works well for me..

and it usually takes eight or ten months before any of them come back to visit..

LOL! Wow! They come back? I thought that would be the best approach if you wanted to clear out the house quickly of a bunch of people whom you never want to return!

I'm thinking that her hogginess was speaking of ways to shoo folks out of the house, not *shoot* them out of the house.
