Yep, you would wouldnt ya?

I mean I'm 25, I've done this a dozen or so times in the last 12 or so yrs. An yet I still can seem to remember not to do this.

Its very uncomfortable to get sun kissed in places ya really dont wanna be sun kissed.

My cousin talked me into goin to a tanning bed yesterday, Now I dont usually go, I use my time out on the boat to get tanned, an I'ma one piece hottie, so that leaves Plenty of pastey white, aint ever seen the light of day in a while, places where my tan lines end.
Ya gettin the picture yet?

So me with my tanned, nice lookin legs an arms an face an upper chest area walks into the tannin salon an from what she seen of me she figured I had a pretty mean tan already goin, oh what the eyes cant see, she puts me in for 10mins in the bed with the 'New Bulbs' so where as to make sure I'm gettin my money's worth.

I felt fine afterwards, till bout 9:00pm las night, (3hrs later) I started feelin uncomfy an it didnt hit me why I was so dag blame uncomfy till I was changin for bed.

I'm Really REALLY sun kissed! From here to there an everywhere between! OMG How could I be so dang forgetful? I mean yea its been like 2 yrs since I been in a tannin bed but now that I've done it again, I remember what happened before!

eh *sigh* anyone wanna help cheer me up an take the smarts from the burn away by tellin me what you knew better than to do but did it anyway story?

Anybody?

....nothing I'd admit, too.

though every year at Christmas, I remind one of my friends about the time she tried to make the our office space most festive by attempting to staple decorative paper to a metal door. Of course, I watched in amusement and waited about 10 minutes before telling her that tape might work better instead.

Sorry you're sun-kissed in owie places. Try aloe.

It sounds more like the sun bit you than kissed you to me!

I hope you don't peel too badly.

A sun story. The hair on top of my head started leaving me when I was in my 20's. Like most men I really didn't want to think about it, and I still had plenty of hair in the front. One day I got back from a day at the shore, can't remember whether it was a beach day or a boat day. About three or so hours, after I got back, I noticed the top of my head was hot, and a bit sore. I stood in front of a mirror, borrowed another one from my sister so I could see the top of my head. There wasn't any hair there, well a few strands, just a bright red scalp. And when I started peeling.... I now have a nice collection of hats. I don't have worry about wrinkles on the top of my head, but I've had a couple of pre-cancerous spots removed in the last couple of years.

Not my story, but he told it so much I think he'd love to know it was still going around.

My ex grew up just an hour or so from the Gulf Coast, and was a serious sunbather. When we were together, I'd be out in the water by myself and he'd be sleeping the previous night off in the hottest part of the day. (picture perfect white, reflective sand)

In the days before "us", he'd go down there, sun all day and hit the clubs with his buds at night. One night, they were up all night, so he went straight to the beach and set up his blanket for a long day's roast. Still inebriated, he slapped his sunscreen on and went to sleep.

Woke up that afternoon, showered at the campsite to get ready for the evening's festivities, and looked in the mirror....

To see a very fried red face, with one perfect handprint on his cheek--where he'd hit it with the sunscreen and passed out. Needless to say, the girls in the bar avoided him that night--looked like he'd been slapped but good.

Why did I love him? Because he made me laugh.

Ooooh, ow! Poor you! I once got sunburnt so badly I peeled three layers of skin. Slightly uncomfortable!

Well, the thing I continue to do when I know I shouldn't, is to use my tomato knife. That thing is very sharp and I can't seem to use it without slicing open a knuckle or two! My hands are covered with these tiny little nicks and gouges!
