Lindsey!! How are ya? How was your time away? How is that relationship going? So spill the beans....enquiring minds want to know!
Hi grace!!! I am fantastic!! I was so busy there for awhile that all I had time to do was login and update my status. lol My relationship is going great. Steve and I are going to visit my parents for Thanksgiving. I've never taken anyone home to meet my parents before, so that's a pretty big deal. I'm excited, nervous, happy, wondering if my dad will be nice . . . I'm his baby girl, so he can be more than a little overprotective. However, he has said that he can't and won't make my decisions for me, which is nice. My mom has also said she trusts my judgement and that she feels she has a good recommendation of Steve's character based on what I've told her about him. This is a big switch from her reaction when I first mentioned him and I'm very grateful for it. She told me she thinks I'm handling things in a very mature way. That was good to hear!

Mom . . . LOL!!! I love her.

Oh, by the way . . . everybody at my church is wondering when Steve and I are getting married. They ask us every Sunday and wonder what's taking so long. All the older men at church keep telling Steve not to let me get away and that if they were fifty years younger, he'd have a lot of competition. lol

I LOVE Sandra Boynton's books. I gave one to my niece. Barnyard Dance, I think it was called. I nearly died of laughter when I read it and the illustrations are too good to be true.

Did you know that pig + elephant = cute little pot-bellied elephant?

I learnt that from South Park.
